10 Inspirational Quotes to live by

If you are a social media user, you’ll probably stumble across many quotes every day. With some of them you might agree, while with others you don’t. I’ve looked up a few of my favourite and most helpful quotes to give you a bit of extra inspiration in life. So, get inspired!

The only wealth which you will keep forever is the wealth you have given away.” —Marcus Aurelius

The wealth you keep for yourself will die and be forgotten the day you will. However, every act of giving and kindness will be remembered by the person forever. You never know how deep your impact on someone can be by just giving something away and helping them out. Your action might impact people or family for generations long.

“What you think, you become.

What you feel, you attract.

What you imagine, you create.”

― Buddha

The art of manifestation and the power of the brain. Our thoughts can be strong sometimes, so why not use this as an advantage. If we can think it, we can do it.

“Quiet People Have the Loudest Minds” ~ Stephen Hawking.

The quote is definitely not saying that you shouldn’t be extraverted or enthusiastic. It is simply saying that you learn and see more by being quiet rather than always talking.

“Some People Are Worth Melting For” -Olaf

I can’t believe I’m fully agreeing with a snowman.

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” ― Audrey Hepburn

Queen Audrey Hepburn said it herself! Anything is possible.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

We all have a voice, unfortunately, some are more heard than others. However, we should never turn a blind eye from injusticeful acts we could change by speaking up. It is what makes us the social being human, standing up for each other.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” ― Oprah Winfrey

It has been scientifically proven that gratefulness reduces anxiety. It is important to be grateful for the things you have. We all struggle with different matters in our lives, however, we all have things or people to be grateful of. By being grateful, you feel more calm, happier and opportunities will come your way.

“My goal is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be.” ― Dr Wayne W. Dyer

You should never compare yourself with others. Never. The only person you should compare yourself with, is you. It doesn’t matter if someone your age you saw on Instagram has achieved more things than you. It matters that for instance, for the first time ever,  you have overcome a fear. The only person you should satisfy is yourself.

“I can’t think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is unafraid to be herself.” -Emma Stone

In the age of mindblowing-almost-real-looking filters, it is important to not lose yourself. The person who you really are in your natural state radiates true beauty.

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

― Albert Einstein

Maybe one of his most famous quotes of all, however it is still relevant in this time and day. If our society really would allow everyone to act and live according to their qualities and talents, no one would ever be called dumb. Unfortunately, the game that we need to play to function in our society was  already crafted before we were born. And the game’s manual you receive depends on many different factors. Your class, your gender, your race, your nationality, your family or your neighbourhood. But despite everyone being a unique combination of these different factors, the world and its game can only be successfully played by a specific type of people. And if you fall under them, you are simply just lucky. Unfortunately, the world is not made for everyone to shine in.
